Privacy Policy — BhoomiPMS / CapitalPOS Google Drive Backup

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies specifically to the BhoomiPMS / CapitalPOS Google Drive Backup application and its use of Google account data. By installing, authorizing, or using the Application, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Access

The Application is designed for a single purpose: backing up your business data to your Google Drive. To do this, it requests permission to access Google Drive on your behalf.

Google account data

• Your Google account email address and basic profile information, used only to identify the account that backups are stored in.
• Access to Google Drive to create, upload, and manage backup files generated by the Application.

Backup data

• Data files exported from your BhoomiPMS or CapitalPOS installation that you choose to back up. These files are uploaded directly from your device to your own Google Drive account.

3. How We Use Information

Information accessed through the Application is used solely to:

• Authenticate your Google account so the Application can connect to your Google Drive.
• Upload, store, and manage backup files in a folder within your Google Drive.
• Allow you to restore your data from a previously created backup.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the backup and restore functionality.

4. Data Storage and Ownership

All backup files are stored within your own Google Drive account. Bhoomi does not host, copy, or retain your backup files on its own servers. You remain the owner of your data at all times and can view or delete backup files directly from your Google Drive.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share Google user data with third parties, except where required to provide the service (for example, Google's own infrastructure that stores your Drive files) or where required by law.

7. Data Security

Data transferred between the Application and Google Drive uses encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Authorization is handled through Google's secure OAuth 2.0 process; the Application does not see or store your Google account password. While we apply reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention and Revoking Access

The Application retains an access token only for as long as needed to perform backups. You may revoke the Application's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access stops further backups; backup files already saved in your Google Drive remain under your control until you delete them.

9. Children's Privacy

The Application is a business tool intended for use by businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
